Hmm. It's an interesting question. I write Sylvia Bows and Anna Green and, in fact, some of their stories are borrowed from bits and pieces of real life. For example, Sylvia's reaction to Zoloft is based on the account of a friend who took that drug--although she was only promiscuous with her husband.
