Worrying about rejection before you begin is not a propitious start. If you're interested in writing a character, look "Backstage" and read a lot of what has already been written to get an idea for form. Then send me an e-mail and I'll send you a return e-mail which explains how to begin.

The writers decide what to write about. We only ask that they write and maintain certain quality standards. We edit the work to stay consistent with the rest of the authors' stories and to maintain grammar and spelling. If the new writers have skewed towards younger characters, it's because that's what they wanted to write about. Characters of all ilks are welcome.

The editors of The Company Therapist don't give out assignments like features in a magazine. The work is interesting because it comes from the heart of the writer.
