I think it's a great idea, and we've often thought about how to pull it off. Two ideas come to mind--a chat room type of interaction, where the authors get together to "drive" their characters in real time or some form of progressive e-mail. Actually, now that I think about it, perhaps we could use a message board approach with the writers checking in and adding on to a communal message.

There's a storyline problem--do you want the characters who actually interact together at work to interact together in group therapy? Usually, group therapy is done in the anonymous comfort of strangers. Would Sylvia or Katherine really bare their souls in front of Anna or Alan? I'm certain that Lloyd wouldn't be caught dead in group.
