Hi John. . .I write the part of Alex and in some ways, yes, his story reflects experiences I have been through, but for the most part, his story is purely fiction based loosely in part on mine and others' experiences. Friends ask me how much of his story is really me and, of course, I will admit to nothing!!! My feeling is the best stories come from experience. So, to answer your question, about 50/50 for me.
