In Response To: The Future of The Company Therapist (pips)

I'm one of those writers who stopped contributing. There are a few reasons. I got busy, Rachel got healthier, the site wasn't being updated so I didn't feel guilty when I was late, and rarely did anyone ask or comment on Rachel, so I lost interest.

I've been so busy, in fact, that I haven't even checked in on the site lately. It came as quite a surprise tonight to find these strings of messages regarding the dramatic shift. It is with regret that I find that the tempo is slowing down here.

Chris and Olga, and the authors: you all made this a great place to visit. I spent a lot of time here in the Doctor's office, eavesdropping on your sessions, living out my other life through Rachel. When she itched, I scratched; when the patients got too nosy about our dear Doctor, I saw his cheeks redden. I could even feel the irritating effect of the florescent lights in the office where so many of Balis's patients worked. When Chris and Olga were sick, we knew about it; we knew when they were on vacation. It was a somewhat intimate group. I'm still impressed!

I truly hope it isn't "Goodbye" and that there is still a chance for us to invent or revive a character. I certainly want to be able to go back for a visit to the sessions I liked the best. Let's see, do I want to go for the saucey? the sweet? the absurd? the dangerous? I know which characters can provide any of the above!
