Greetings all!
As some die-hard fans might dimly recall, I used to write the character of Sam Eldrich; however, time pressures forced me to discontinue updating the character. The summer during which Mr. Eldrich was first conceived was a rather momentous one in my life, as it led to the shifting of my academic interest from biochemistry to psychology. Since Sam faded into the background, I've pursued a number of research projects and many, many psychology courses, leading to my recent acceptance into graduate school in clinical psychology!
Therefore, in four to five years, perhaps Dr. Balis might be supervising the internship of a junior clinical psychologist (though there might be a clash between his M.D. training and the clin psyc's Ph.D. methodology...). At any rate, I thank this site for allowing me to express my therapeutic interests in an early and very formative stage of my life. I've enclosed a link for the home page to the abnormal psyc course for which I'm now a TA, in hopes that those looking for more info on mental disorders might be able to visit it.
